The Cast - AnnaLynne McCord

AnnaLynne McCord

AnnaLynne McCord was born on July 21, 1987 in a small suburb outside of Atlanta into a conservative family with two sisters (Angel and Rachel), they continue to be a prominent source of inspiration in her life and career. McCord knew from a young age that she wanted to be an actress, starring in plays at her community theatre at the age of nine. After graduating from high school with honors at the tender age of 15, she went to the agency AMTC, landed a contract, and moved to Miami to pursue her dream of acting.

While working at the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency, McCord began auditioning on the side and landed a role in the opening scene of the feature film, Transporter 2 - while it was merely a cameo she fell in love with acting and wanted to continue to pursue her dream. Within the span of two years, McCord eventually moved to New York City, became a client of Frontier Booking, and enrolled at William Esper Studio to study the Meisner Technique. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she quickly landed the lead role in the remake of the classic horror film, Day of the Dead.

AnnaLynne appeared in guest roles on the widely popular series CSI: Miami, Close to Home and The O.C. in 2006 & 2007 alone. 2007 also brought the series America Heiress from MyNetworkTV to her budding career. In the TV series/primetime soap she played the wild-child Loren Wakefield, eldest daughter and most neglected child in the Wakefield household. Starving for love and attention from her father, Lionel Wakefield (John Aprea), Loren quickly discovers that she may be too wild for her own family. She was on 61 episodes of the soon cancelled soap. During her Heiress run, she was also cast as the star in another MyNetworkTV telenovela, Rules of Deception, but the project was halted in preproduction. In addition, she appeared in two first season episodes (19 and 20) of Ugly Betty as well as an episode on the first season of Greek.
Still continuing on much success in later 2007, AnnaLynne landed the lead role in her biggest role to date in the fifth season of the steamy and risque FX series Nip/Tuck. AnnaLynne portrays the seductive and bitchy Eden Lord. Eden has stirred the plot many times on the show, we hope her character will continue to grow and see more screentime. She has since been casted in the horror film Slaughter, co-starring with fellow “scream queens” Erica Leerhsen (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Blair Witch 2) and Shawnee Smith (Saw series). The movie is about A young actress travels to a remote location to shoot a film, only to discover she and her co-stars have been cast in a Japanese snuff film and must fight to survive. As well as She Lived and the lead in the Mystery / Sci-Fi film Mysterious, all of which are due out in 2008.
AnnaLynne McCord currently resides in Los Angeles.
